Theresa Houchin graduated from Snead State with an Associate Degree in Elementary Education. She then attended Jacksonville University graduating with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. She home schooled for two years using the ABeka curriculum. Her Junior Block practicum was in Kindergarten at Pleasant Valley in Calhoun County. She was involved in different schools as a tutor in reading.She lives with her husband John, and grandson Mark in Boaz. Her daughter, Christy and son-in-law Heath have a daughter, Cali and they live in Boaz as well. She attends Baltimore Avenue Church |

I am truly blessed to have an opportunity to teach Kindergarten at Marshall Christian Academy! I love teaching, working with children, and above all God. So to have the opportunity to teach a Christian curriculum and be a witness for Jesus is awesome. God has put me on this path and I will be his vessel in my journey of teaching and loving children. |
