Curriculum:
The Academy will target the average to
above-average students and will use the ABeka curriculum and will match the
scope and sequence to state guidelines. Unlike other curriculums,
ABeka has reading lessons and instructions using the Bible as a reading
source. The curriculum will be evaluated each year to see if parts of
other known curriculums might be incorporated in certain subject lessons to
strengthen the overall curriculum. Bible lessons, pledge of allegiance
to the flag, and prayer will be done daily and the Academy will have weekly
chapel which will last about thirty minutes and is planned for each Friday
morning.
For more
information about the ABeka curriculum you can visit the school to see first
hand the books and projects the students are working on. |
